By my reckoning, someone had thrown this from a car or it had come off of a agricultural truck from the highway up the arroyo. Otherwise, I have no idea how this tomatillo got there. While there are tomatillos growing up many of the arroyos, there were none growing in this particular arroyo. I guess for people who may not know, El Fornio claims that it is the tomatillo capital of the world. Who's to really know.
